Computing and technology skills and capabilities are vital for businesses of all sizes to succeed in today’s interconnected global economy. The technology landscape itself is constantly evolving leading to many UK firms looking to develop their IT skills base.
Northumbria University London’s MSc Computing and Technology part-time programme has been designed for graduates who currently have a degree from another discipline yet would like to study for a generalist broad-based qualification to further develop their knowledge, skills and accelerate their career development or transition. It is also attractive to learners who have related IT experience, but do not hold a first degree as the MSc in Computing and Technology provides an opportunity to achieve an academic qualification, in a subject area in which they are familiar.
Delivered in 15 weekend blocks across the 2 year programme, students will not have to take time off work to study.
For more information, visit the Northumbria University London website.
This programme will enable you to update, extend and deepen your knowledge in computing and IT and wider digital leadership and technology subjects, in order to enhance your career opportunities. Throughout your time on this course you will be able to demonstrate capabilities in the disciplines of Computing and Digital Technology.
Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) is embedded throughout the course with tools such as the ‘Blackboard’ eLearning Portal and electronic reading lists that will guide your preparation for seminars and independent research.
The cost of the MSc is £7,650 inclusive of all materials and examinations.
The modules you will study do not require you to purchase additional textbooks although we recommend you allow an additional £200-250 for the duration of your studies should you choose to purchase any additional reading materials.
